Engineered Tantalum Fittings and Tantalum Fasteners
Tantalum Technologies’ composite tantalum
fittings and fasteners combine a surface of 100% tantalum with an
alloyed steel core. Based on a metallurgical diffusion zone
technology Tantalum Technologies‘ fasteners is able to meet tough challenges in
highly corrosive environments. Fittings, fasteners, bolts and nuts
are available in dimensions up to approx. 125 mm (5”) diameter and
500 mm (20”) length.

High conductivity Tantalum Electrodes
Tantalum Technologies offer electrodes for high current density applications. The electrodes are based on a combination of a core in copper, titanium or another metal with a corrosion resistant layer of tantalum. Together with improved conductivity,
Tantalum Technologies’ technology offer higher design freedom compared to a solution based on solid tantalum or coating made by clad, welding or rolling.
Tantalum Technologies’ Tantalum electrodes can be combined with subsequent treatment of noble metal or other materials to prevent oxidation of the tantalum surface or to obtain catalytic effects.

A coated tantalum solution.
Tantalum Technologies offer in-house facilities for coating tantalum on to substrates like metal, ceramics or graphite. 100% dense and pinhole free tantalum layers ranging from approx 10 microns (0.4 mils) to 0.25 mm (0.01”) is available on demand.
Tantalum Technologies coating has shown safe in chemical industry for years.
A coated solution is excellent when it comes to price or complex geometries due to material saving. Coating is also obvious for fast delivery of small quantity orders - especially if you supply the substrates yourselves.
