Prices, Lead-time and
Upgraded production Priority
"Standard price" in an offer or confirmation
refer unless other stated in an offer to 6 full
weeks (Monday to Friday) where the parts are available in
Tantalum Technologies´ production. Shorter lead-time (down to 2 weeks) may be
obtained by upgrading the priority of the order according to the
table below. Priority production may be subject to availability and
production time shorter than 2 weeks cannot be guaranteed. Changed
production priority will not be valid until confirmed by Tantalum
Technologies. If
a certain delivery time is essential we recommend to
fix the out-shipping date to secure on-time
delivery even if in-shipping is delayed.

Fixed (promised)
out-shipping date by automatic priority upgrade
If you need to meet a certain delivery
(out-shipping) time, you may fix the out-shipping date. Tantalum
Technologies will
then automatically upgrade you order priority (if necessary) to meet
schedule even if the parts arrive later than expected at Tantalum
Technologies
(due to e.g. delays by you or the carrier). Additional
cost for upgraded priority will be claimed
by invoicing. Please note that less than 2 full production weeks can
normally not be guaranteed.
Calculation of
production time. In- and out-shipping routines
Stated production time (lead-time) for
tantalum coating or other service made on customer parts refer to
full weeks (Monday to Friday) in production. In- and out-shipping
occurs Friday noon. Parts arriving by Express carrier (e.g. DHL, UPS
or FeedEx) any time Friday will be accepted as delivered Friday
noon.
Example: A part for coating is received
during week 10 (before Friday noon) agreed to be produced with "3
weeks priority" in production will leave
Tantalum Technologies no later than Friday in week 13. If the part is late (e.g.
due to delay by the carrier) and first arrive Monday morning it may
not leave Tantalum Technologies before Friday in week 14. Out-shipping Friday in
week 13 is still possible but will require
upgrade to "2 weeks priority" in production. If you have chosen
to "fix" the out-shipping to Friday week 13,
Tantalum Technologies will upgrade production priority automatically.
Shipping, Customer
pick-up and "Full Service"
By default Tantalum Technologies used DHL Express for
out-shipping tantalum coated parts. You may in addition choose to
use Tantalum Technologies DHL Express Import account when shipping your parts to
Tantalum Technologies, where you notice DHL when your parts are ready for pickup.
Shipping cost will be invoiced by Tantalum Technologies.
In addition to "pick-up", we offer "Full
Service" option, including pick-up from address, delivery to address
and where we are taking care of duty handling and other paperwork
related to shipping. Full Service costs will be invoiced by Tantalum
Technologies.
Prices
for Pick-Up, Delivery, and Full Service (US costumers) (pdf - 30Kb)
DHL offer an average on-time rate of approx.
98%. Tantalum Technologies do not take responsibility for any delays when parts
are outside Tantalum Technologies facilities. To minimize effects of any
unexpected delays we recommend to ad day to the transit time
suggested by the carrier.
