About Danfoss Tantalum Technologies

Danfoss Tantalum Technologies was established as a job coater of tantalum coatings in 1996 and since then have been servicing the market with innovative tantalum solutions for technical and medical use. Today Danfoss offer the most comprehensive tantalum program on the market including tantalum metal, tantalum composites and tantalum coating. 

Danfoss Tantalum Technologies works as a developer as well as subcontractor within tantalum solutions. Danfoss Tantalum Technologies is owned by Danfoss A/S, which employs 17,000 people world wide and have an annual sales turnover of approx. 2 billion EUR.

Locations and Logistics

Danfoss Tantalum Technologies has main facilities in Denmark but uses suppliers and workshop in a number of countries. In fact a similar product may come from different locations in different countries. When you place an order, we choose the origin dependent on local availability, technology and skills, in order to optimize quality, lead-time and price.

With 59 factories in 21 countries and handling more than 250.000 parts per day, Danfoss is an expert in logistics. Danfoss Tantalum Technologies has fine tuned the logistic system to make it easy as possible for our customers. We do full logistics, handling, duty and paper work.

Closer than your local drug store

When quoting an order you will see a price in your local currency* together with a full price for the product delivered to your door, all duty and expenses paid**. When sending parts for coating we pick them up at your door and deliver the finished parts at your door on the agreed time. Buying from Danfoss Tantalum Technologies is in fact easier than buying at your local drugstore. Further we are never closed. All you have to worry about (in addition to price, of cause) is:

Of cause we cannot do magic. Parts may be late. Through our collaboration with world leading carriers we have however reduced the failure risk to a minimum. Our carriers have an average “on time” rate exceeding 98%.
